Legal

Last updated October 29, 2026.

Draft. These terms describe how Ordinary Audio intends to work at launch and will be reviewed before the store opens.

Your license

When you buy a plugin, you get a personal, non-exclusive license to use it. It belongs to you as a person, not to a computer: install it on up to 3 computers you use. The software itself stays the property of Ordinary Audio.

Licenses can’t be resold or transferred unless we agree to it. Write to us if you need to move a license to someone else.

What you make

Everything you create with our plugins — risers, renders, songs — is yours. Use it in any project, commercial or not, with no royalties and no credit required.

What’s not allowed

  • Sharing your license key or the installers with other people.
  • Getting around activation, or reverse-engineering, modifying or redistributing the plugins.
  • Renting, sublicensing or reselling the plugins.

Refunds

Changed your mind? Ask for a full refund within 14 days of purchase. When we refund, the license is deactivated.

Updates and support

Updates within the same major version are free. Support is by email; see Support for the details.

Warranty and liability

We work hard to make our plugins reliable, but they’re provided “as is”. Always keep backups of your projects. To the extent the law allows, Ordinary Audio isn’t liable for indirect damages or lost data, and our total liability is limited to what you paid for the plugin. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer law.

Changes

We may update these terms. The version that applied when you bought still covers that purchase, unless you agree to the new one.
