Ordinary Riser
Put it on a vocal, press play, and drag a riser into your session that swells exactly into the first word. No routing, no bouncing, no reversing by hand.

Listen
Hear the lift.
Flip between the dry vocal and the same take with its riser.
How it works
Three steps. Zero routing.
01
Play your vocal
Ordinary Riser listens while your DAW plays and renders the moment you stop. Turn CAPTURE off to keep the one you like.
02
Pick a character
Step through Reverse, Swell, Shimmer and Freeze right on the ring. Set the length from a quarter bar to four bars — it follows your tempo.
03
Hear it, then drag it
LISTEN plays the riser straight into your vocal. Like it? Drag the clip in — its right edge is where the vocal starts, so it lands on time.
Four characters
One vocal. Four ways up.
Every mode tints the whole plugin, so you always know what you’re hearing at a glance.
Reverse
The classic, done right.
A reverse reverb built from the first vowel of your line, swelling straight into the word. Sibilance is tamed before it ever hits the tail.

Details
The work you used to do by hand.
Hears the “s” before you do
Sibilance is detected and softened before it reaches the tail, so the riser never hisses into the word.
−3.0dB
Under the vocal
Sits at the right level
Matched to your vocal’s loudness, then set where you want it with LEVEL.
Hear it land before you drag
LISTEN plays the riser, and with VOCAL on it runs straight into the first two seconds of your take. LOOP keeps it going while you tweak.
Locks to your tempo
From a quarter bar to four bars, always in time with your session.
Effects, with a second layer
Phone, Chorus and an accelerating Tremolo, one press each. Hover for fine-tuning: cut, mix, depth and rate.

Presets that follow you
Seven factory presets, plus your own. Star favorites and they show up in every project.
Sized for your screen
Scale the whole interface from 75% to 150%. Sizes that won’t fit your display are never offered.
Rather not drag?
Save the riser anywhere, reveal it in Finder or copy its path — every riser is a regular WAV file.
