How licenses work
Each license belongs to one person and works on up to 3 computers at the same time — say, a studio machine, a laptop and a spare. Your license key arrives by email right after purchase.
The risers you make are yours. Use them in any project, commercial or not, with no royalties and no credit required.
Activate
- Load the plugin in your DAW, or open the standalone app.
- The activation screen opens on first launch. Paste your license key and choose Activate.
- That’s it — the computer stays activated.
Move to a new computer
Deactivate the license on the computer you’re leaving from the plugin’s menu. That frees a slot for the new one.
Computer lost, stolen or wiped before you could deactivate? Contact us and we’ll reset your activations.
Lost your key?
Search your inbox for “Ordinary Audio”. If it isn’t there, write to us from the email address you bought with and we’ll send it again.
Updates
Updates within the same major version are free. When one is out, download the new installer from the same link and run it over the old version — your presets and settings are kept.
Third-party software
Ordinary Audio plugins are built with software made by others. Thank you to:
- JUCE — the audio plugin framework.
- Geist and Geist Mono by Vercel, and Michroma by Vernon Adams — under the SIL Open Font License 1.1.
