The short version
- Your audio never leaves your computer.
- We collect only what we need to sell you a license and support you.
- We don’t sell your data, and we don’t use advertising trackers.
Your audio
Our plugins process audio locally, on your computer. Nothing you play through them is uploaded, analysed remotely or used to train anything. Risers and presets are saved as files in your own Music folder.
The plugins
The plugins contact our servers only to activate a license and to check whether it is valid. That exchange contains your license key, a random identifier for the computer and the plugin’s version — no audio, no file names, no usage data.
Purchases
When you buy, we keep your name, email address, what you bought and your license keys, so we can deliver them and help you later. Payments are handled by our payment provider; we never see or store your card details.
The contact form
Messages you send through the contact form reach our inbox as email, delivered by our email provider, Resend. We use your name and address only to reply.
This website
This site doesn’t use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. If we add analytics, they will be privacy-friendly and cookie-free, and this page will say which service we use.
If you subscribe, we first send a link to confirm that the address is yours; you’re only added once you confirm. We use the address only to tell you about new releases. Subscriber addresses are stored with Resend, and every email has an unsubscribe link. When you write to support, we keep the conversation so we can help you if the problem comes back.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct, export or delete the personal data we hold about you at any time. Write to support@ordinaryaudio.com and we’ll reply within 30 days. We keep purchase records only as long as the law requires.
Changes
If we change this policy, we’ll update the date at the top. If a change affects how we use data you’ve already given us, we’ll tell you by email first.
